Samantha Lees is based out of Calgary, Alberta and has been a professional makeup artist since 2009. Sam's career started at Sephora as a senior artist, where she auditioned for their Pro team in the United States and experienced her first runway show. This sparked Sam's passion for artistry and lead to the discovery that she thrives in fast paced, creative environments. From there she freelanced for Stila and Estee Lauder before becoming the educator for her all time favourite brand, NARS. Sam's inspiration comes from her icons: Francois Nars, Dany Sanz, and Ve Neill, and she will always strive to humbly attain this level of artistry in her own style, while mastering her craft. Being self taught, she dives into masterclasses to perfect technique, stay current with trends, and continue to learn from the best makeup artists internationally.
